I haven't been there kom a while, but as I recall, it could work. They have several big tables, maybe even enough for us to drop one team per table and leave enough room on the table for their regular to have a game...

Do we want a venue with food and drinks? Not having anything more than a vending machine available might keep people focused. It also might lead to people popping out for a kebab. Thoughts?

good points. Some locations would take care of that: wienmegagames.boards.net/thread/35/spielbar-oldie-goldie Since we cannot expect our players to be Megagame-pro's (yet) and bring their own lunch, I'd actually prefer something with food available. Snacks, Burgers and Toasts should do for suitable in-between nourishment, I think. I think the Spielbar's sortiment (while not exactly broad-ranged) might prove sufficient, basically.
